About the Business
We supply, install, repair, and maintain locks, safes, and physical security devices of all kinds. Our shops offer key cut-cutting, and carry and extensive range of locks in stock. Since we were established thirty years ago, we have combined work in private homes and small business, with an impressive record of undertaking major central and local government contracts.
There are dozens of local locksmiths on the internet and in Yellow Pages and Thomsons. A minority of them are well-established firms, usually with their own shops, like Trafalgar. However, in the UK there is no legal requirement for regulation, and at the other end of the scale there are independent locksmiths who might be untrained, aside from a one week course. In addition there is no formal requirement for a locksmith to to have a criminal record check. Picking a locksmith at random is risky. We at Traflagar have been in business nearly 30 years, with our own shops. Our ongoing success depends on our reputation.
